Description
In Cloud Gardens you overgrow lo-fi scenes of urban decay and manufactured landscapes. Plant your seeds in the right place to create small overgrown dioramas with hundreds of different items and progress through the stages in six chapters. Discover a dozen different seeds and learn how to make them thrive. Use the photo mode to show off your creations.
This is mostly a relaxing game where the player is allowed to delight in their own creativity. You could call it a sandbox or a "mildly interactive screensaver", though sometimes you will fail and have to restart a level. As a player, your task is to completely cover the scene in front of you in plants. As you overgrow the objects, a meter fills to show your progress. You are given objects to expand the scene. These objects contribute energy to the growing of plants, but you will also have to cover them in foliage to complete the stage, striking a balance between nature and the manufactured.
